Escape From the Planet of the Apes
Film's Rundown. The sight of three talking chimps, who inexplicably came aboard a spaceship, has taken the globe by surprise. Humans are intrigued (read more) by their intellect and utilize them for study - at least until the apes seek to escape.
Escape is the third film in the Planet of the Apes series, and the only one that was made with the intention of spawning sequels. It takes the apes away from the familiar dystopian future and into our own time. Although it was still the future at the time of the film's release, how has time treated this well-regarded classic of science fiction fared over the decades?
